Correcting Pitch And Adding Harmony To Singing In Band in a Box 2004

This section only applies to Band In A Box 2004.

Want to add some vocals to your tracks but have a terrible voice or sound more like Gomer Pyle instead of Jim Nabors? Want to add a couple of female singers but the wife would want to know who the two nice looking girls are and what in the heck they are doing in your music room?

Well welcome to the new software engine world that the 2004 version of Band In A Box added. Now you can do the above things and have it sound pleasing and you don't have to worry about the wife throwing you out of the house by your ears because of a couple of cuties being in the house with you.

Let me explain first that there are so many different things that can be done with this new addition that it would be impossible for me to show you every thing so this is really meant to get you started and from there you can experiment with every thing. I will explain just what all of the controls are used for but it's up to you as to the sound that you want. One more thing that you should be aware of is that this part of the software deals directly with the WAV file and is distructive to that file so you should always save the file first under a different name before doing any thing so that you can always go back to the original file if need be. You can use the "Un Do" in the edit pull down menu provided you did nothing else to have the changes erased but I find that making a second and even a third file is just as easy. I will also provide two small sound files that you can listen to so that you can hear the before and after just to get an idea of what can be done.

OK all of you Frank Sinatra want to be's. Get out your mics and lets get started.
