Changing The Melody/Soloist By An Octave (Portion Of The Song)
After clicking on "Transpose Melody Only..." You will see the Transpose window open up. Since I want to lower the melody
by one octave I put in a -12 in the "Transpose melody semitones (-36 +36)" window. Remember an octave is 12 semitones. I also
only want to change a portion of the song as I said in the beginning from measure 17 to measure 24 so I need to click on the
radio button marked as "Part of Song." Since I want the change to start at measure 17 I put a 17 in the "Bar" box and I don't
want to change the melody start point or anything else about it so I enter a "0" in the box asking if I want the change to
start early. I also only want this change for 1 chorus but I could have it for all 3 chourses by changing this number.
Next I want to tell BIAB how many bars I want this change to be. Since I want it to stay until measure 24 before changing
back I entered 8 in the "#Bars" and because I don't want the change to end early I enter a "0" in the next box. That's all
there is to it. Now just hit the "OK" and lets go to the last Pic.
