Power Tracks Pro 7 Audio Settings

If you clicked on the icon of the little pc card then the "Audio Settings" screen will appear as shown on the left side of the screen. To get the "Audio Drivers" screen on the right just click on the "Drivers..." button. The first box on the Audio Drivers screen is sample rate that you will choose for your recording. Since all CD's have a sampling rate of 44.1k, this is what you want it set at. If you click on the "Default" button, Power Tracks will automatically profile your system and set the correct values for you. The big thing is to make certain that the "Full Duplex" box is checked. The Audio drivers on the settings screen on the right is for choosing which drivers you want to use for recording and playback. In my case I have the sound card checked for both play back and record. Once you have your settings there is no need to change them as they will stay. Now click on the "ok" buttons for both the audio driver and audio settings screen. Next will bring in your backup track that you want to use.
